Job Summary: We are seeking a tutor to provide one-on-one or small group instruction to students, to meet compensatory service time owed. Tutoring will take place at the Lower School after school hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review IEP goals and provide instruction related to their goals
- Provide instruction in designated subjects (e.g., Math and ELA).
- Create engaging and effective lesson plans and materials.
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed.
- Communicate with IEP case manager regarding progress
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment.
Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university required
- Valid Rhode Island Teacher Certificate required
- Elementary Education Teacher, Grades 1-6 OR
- Elementary Special Education Teacher
- National background check (after offer)
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required
