Job Summary: We are seeking a tutor to provide one-on-one or small group instruction to students, to meet compensatory service time owed. Tutoring will take place at the Lower School after school hours.

Key Responsibilities:

Review IEP goals and provide instruction related to their goals
Provide instruction in designated subjects (e.g., Math and ELA).
Create engaging and effective lesson plans and materials.
Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed.
Communicate with IEP case manager regarding progress
Foster a positive and supportive learning environment.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university required
- Valid Rhode Island Teacher Certificate required
- National background check (after offer)
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required
